Even though it's only been a week since August started walking, she is walking almost all the time now. She figured out that putting her arms in front of her stops her from banging her head into walls, poles, and chairs. So now she walks quite a bit like Frankenstein.

Today, I showed her a book of color. She repeated the words for orange, red, and purple. She already knew blue. She's gone over several different books with color in them. She pointed to the orange colored blob in the book, said "orange" and then walked away. She returned with a purple toy in her hand. I was a little bit disappointed. But then, she pointed to the pot of honey painted on the other side of the toy and repeated, "orange".
