Like most kids her age, August is really into music. She graduated from her first dance class and is now in tiny tots level 2. She usually dances wildly but when you ask her, she will do the two-step, which a majority of grown men would not dare attempt. It's actually a little strange, but over-the-top adorable, watching the wild child do a dance that takes some control.

August also bobs her head to glam rock from hair bands such as Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. Hits include "Living on a Prayer" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me". We don't own any of this music so she has to visit restaurants to hear this stuff.

This morning, she was listening to some random music selection dished up by our Slim Server (digital music jukebox). It was Indian folk music. August immediately said she liked it because it was like the music that her cousin Makana dances to.
